Hadiqa's Tour of Turkey It was the 25th Anniversary of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA).The Islamic countries cultural week was celebrated in the last week of November 2005 in Istanbul Turkey. The event was organized by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Hadiqa Kiani represented Pakistan and performed at the AKM concert Hall on 23rd November 2005. The biggest surprise for the audience was when Hadiqa sang "Sanalama" (a Turkish song of Living Legend "Sezanaksu") The audience gave her a standing ovation..At the end of her performance, The Mayor of Istanbul presented a bouquet of flowers to Hadiqa. Later Hadiqa also performed in Ankar and Izmeer upon the request of the Pakistani Consulate. Hadiqa awarded "Tamghai Imtiaz”. Acknowledging the services of Hadiqa in the field of music and bringing good name to the country for over a decade, Govt. Of Pakistan awarded her “Tamghai Imtiaz". The ceremoniy took place on 23rd March, 2006 in Governor House Lahore Governor Punjab Presented her the award on behalf of the President of Pakistan. Her award was announced on 14th August, 2005 on the Independence day of Pakistan in a ceremony held at President House Islamabad. Hadiqa Performed in Malaysia..Prime Minister was the chief guest. Hadiqa performed in Malaysia on the 2nd October 2005 at the newly built Convention Centre in Kualalampur downtown. The Honorary Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz was the chief guest of the show. The show was part of Expo 2005 in Malaysia. Important business and political personalities from both countries attended the show.. Hadiqa's performance was highly appreciated specially her song " Chindai" (a Malaysian song) was greatly admired by the Malaysian audience. "Her ax cent and tone for the Malaysian song was so perfect that we could not figure out if she was a Pakistani singer", said a Malaysian Journalist present at the show. The Princess of Pakistani Pop Music stayed at "The Prince Hotel Kualalampur" where she received given state guest protocol. Indus Music Awards Hadiqa has twice won the Indus Music Award for best female vocals. Once in the year 2004 and later in 2005 . Hadiqa represents a moderate Pakistans Hadiqa performed in Houston on 13 th August 2005.The show was at Sam Houston Race Park . It was attend by over 15000 people.. Chief guest of the show was Sheila Jackson Lee “Member US House Of Representatives” who after meeting Hadiqa told her that she represented a moderate Pakistan The show was part of Pakistan 's Independence Day Celebrations and was a huge success. Hadiqa performed at the "Mets" on 18 August 2005. Hadiqa performed at Shea Stadium New York at the Base Ball match between New York “Mets” and Pennsylvania “Pirates”. There was an estimated audience of over 25,000 people in the stadium. Hadiqa's participation ensured large number of Pakistanis and Indian audience in the stadium. Hadiqa performed in Nagoya Japan on 11th August, 2005. The show took place in Nagoya Japan was part of Expo 2005. Both Pakistani and Japanese Prime Ministers attended the show. Hadiqa's performance was part of the grand fin alley where all the artists joined her one by one. Hadiqa performed for the Chinese President on 23rd Nov 2006 Mr. Hu Jintao, the Chinese President,payed his first state visit to Pakistan in November 2006. Hadiqa Kiani performed for the Chinese President on 23rd Nov 2006 at the President House Islamaba Hadiqa performed in China on 21st Fed, 2006 It was the 55 th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between The Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the People's Republic of China . A musical show and dinner was arranged by the Pakistani Embassy and the Chinese Association for Friendship with Foreign countries at Diaoyutai State Guest House Beijing on 21 st February 2006. President of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharraf and the 2 nd Premier of China attended the dinner and the show. Hadiqa performed for the Crown Prince of Brunei on 29th May, 2006. Hadiqa Kiani performed at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre, Berakas in Brunei Darussalam. Her show was organized by the Brunei Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Crown Prince of Brunei Al-Muhtadee Billah Bolkiah was the Chief Guest of the show. Hadiqa Performed for HRH Prince Charles on 30th Oct 2006 Britain 's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla met some Pakistani youths on Monday at the Launch of The Prince's Youth Business International (YBI) scheme for Pakistan . Hadiqa performed for HRH Price Charles, his wife Camilla, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Shaukat Aziz and various other entrepreneurs at the Prime Minister's House, Islamabad . Prince Charles praised hadiqa's performance during his speech. Hadiqa Performed for President of the United States On 4th March 2006, a farewell dinner and musical show took place at the President House Islamabad in the honour of US President George W Bush. Prominent personalities from all walks of life were present at this occasion. A musical show was set up by Pakistan National Council Of the Arts. There were various cultural and classical music performances such as Tabla performance by famous Pakistani Tabla player Ustad Tari..Dhol performance, various classical and cultural dance performances. Hadiqa was the only singer and was the last performer of the show.
